Berndes b.free Sustainable Cookware Series
Our "greenest" pan made from 100% plastic-free & aluminum cans
The b.free series was recently awarded the German Sustainability Award 2025! Our contribution to a better future: sustainable cookware made from recycled materials, free from harmful chemicals, and designed with smart ideas for greater environmental protection.
We use exclusively recycled aluminum cans in the production process. The can you recently drank from could now be in your b.free aluminum pan. Recycling these cans saves the world from harmful chemicals and reduces the energy required for processing by up to 95%.
PFAS-free
We take the lead by setting a good example and rely on know-how and good ideas for sustainable cooking enjoyment. And thus ensure a healthy future for people and nature. We also do not use heavy metals, plasticisers and all so-called forever chemicals like PFAS/PTFE. The properties and performance of our b.nature quartz coating are already setting new standards in the cookware sector in terms of durability and long-lasting non-stick effect.
Packaging with a second use
Once opened, the packaging of b.free products can be used as a practical pan protector. It is designed to provide excellent protection for the inside of the cookware when stacked. This prevents chips and scratches. Simply clever!
