Already a revolution at the time After numerous experiments with various coatings in the 1950s, Berndes was finally able to revolutionize the cookware market around 1976! The first non-stick cast aluminum cookware was born and with it a classic, the BONANZA® pan with its characteristic wooden handle made of Sauerland ash. Incidentally, it is still in the range today. Many other innovations followed, such as the first colored cast aluminum cookware (1995) or the concept of providing pans with a durable, removable handle. The "Vario Click" series was born (2005).
