Die meerblaue Dose mit mattiertem Deckel in Kristall wird in der sogenannten "Perloptik-Technik" hergestellt. Der Vorposten aus Kristallglas wird mit meerblauem Farbmehl eingefärbt und die Perloptik mit Hilfe eines sogenannten "optischen Vorbläsers" erzeugt. Der Vorposten wird mit Kristallglas überfangen und von den Meistern geformt. Technik und Qualität der Arbeit erfordern langjährige Erfahrung der Glasmachermeister und ein gutes Gespür für Form und Farbe.
