BST SLITTINGControl System

BST India’s Slitting Control System ensures precise blade positioning, minimal waste and consistent daughter-roll width. Real-time width & coating monitoring for web processing BST SLITTINGControl measures the width of every daughter roll, as well as the position of the coating, and compares both with the target values. If the width deviates from the target, this is an indicator that the blade is configured incorrectly or that the machine is experiencing wear and tear, and the machine operator is informed immediately. If the width is correct but the coating position is not, BST SLITTINGControl will activate the FRAMEGuide before the cutting.
