Skyline Chess Limited
Skyline Staunton Chess Edition
Skyline Staunton Chess Edition
The traditional Staunton Chess set was designed by architect Nathaniel Cooke who took details from a number of different chess sets, however more interestingly took inspiration from classical architecture details which he saw in the city around him.
With this in mind, we thought it only fitting that we added a Staunton design into the Skyline collection, with our own contemporary aesthetic and materiality applied.
- A classic Staunton design with contemporary detailing
- 34-piece set hand-cast in solid Steel
- 2 extra queens included for pawn promotion
- King Height: 3.75"
- Set weight: 6kg
- Heavy weight pieces with soft felt base
- Each set comes complete with a hand-printed wooden or Italian Carrara marble board and presentation box
