HUG Award Winning Wooden Chair

Winner of the Gold Leaf Award at the 2024 International Furniture Design Competition Asahikawa (IFDA), the Hug Chair truly lives up to its name — it sits like an embrace. Designed by Chinese designer Yuhao Zhu, the chair’s strikingly organic form captures attention at first glance. “I wanted to create a chair that warmly welcomes people of all shapes and postures,” says Zhu, “to foster a closer relationship between wooden furniture and people.”
