The latest edition, Color Trend 2026, curated by Marcelo Rosenbaum, was launched in April 2025.

About the Color Trend® guides

  • Purpose:

To provide an international guide for the converted plastics industry, showcasing innovative and creative color trends based on a Brazilian perspective.

  • Curators:

Each year, a different Brazilian design personality is selected to curate the guide. Past curators include Walter Rodrigues, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Jum Nakao, Gabriela de Matos, and Marcelo Rosenbaum.

  • Inspiration:

The color palettes are inspired by diverse elements of Brazil, such as its ecosystems, cultural heritage, and natural resources.

  • Example (Color Trend 2026):

Marcelo Rosenbaum's 2026 guide was inspired by his travels and the diverse ecosystems of Brazil, with colors representing memories of specific places and people, like the "cinza bonito pra chover" (gray beautiful for the rain) from the sertão or the colors of the Amazon.

  • Publication:

The guides are produced in three languages and are used by the industry to prepare for upcoming product launches.
