Creative upcycling Våges' design philosophy is upcycling. The Smålandian tradition of making use of what you have to create something new has been with us for several generations. Since sustainability is at the heart of Våges, creative upcycling is very important to us. By combining our products with, for example, bottles or jars, our customers can create their own unique candle holders. at Våges is that sustainability should permeate everything – from the choice of raw materials and production to packaging and the way the finished products reach our customers. All of our products are manufactured in Småland, Sweden, and all raw materials originate in Europe. Our raw-material suppliers are subject to the same EU regulations as we are, and they offer green zinc, a sustainable alternative. The factory here in Småland generates its own wind and solar power, which more than covers the energy consumption required for production. We provide precise CO₂e emission values for all our products in zinc.
