In 1946, the founder of the company, Erwin Hill, started making rotary whisks of very solid quality. In doing so, he laid the foundations for the company as a whole and, in particular, a range of high-grade kitchen utensils which are still made at the location in Solingen today. In line with his slogan, "There's no alternative to functionality and quality", the product range was gradually expanded and successfully marketed over decades, usually under the famous brand names of their key customers. In the early 2000s the third generation of family owners decided to market the products made by the Hill company under their own trade name of triangle®. Under this label, both consumers and the trade have access to a product range covering over 300 different kitchen utensils - marketed the world over. In 2012 Hill Metallwaren was renamed into triangle GmbH . triangle is a family firm based in Solingen and will remain so, which makes it a dependable economic factor in this region. We make full use of environmentally sustainable production methods. This includes the use of plastics made from recycled cooking fat and renewable raw materials, a return to sustainable materials such as local wood, the minimization of packaging and the upcycling of production waste into new products.
