Profile
Seltmann Publishers GmbH
Print is not dead! Our history goes back over five generations: it all started in 1852 with master lithographer Karl Hermann Seltmann in the Erzgebirge and continued in Lüdenscheid from 1912. Since 2008, the publishing house seltmann+söhne has been based in Berlin and Lüdenscheid. Since 2020, we have been operating as Seltmann Publishers under the leadership of Oliver Seltmann – exclusively based in Berlin. In Lüdenscheid, the traditional, independent printing house Seltmann is continued by Arno Seltmann in the fifth generation. Invented in Germany. Printed with love. We develop, design, and produce outstanding printed products – technically, artistically, and content-wise. In addition to carefully selected books, our focus today is on original non-books: inspiring calendars, games, stationery, and design products from the fields of photography, lifestyle, art, and design. In this area, we have been growing particularly dynamically for years and continuously expanding our program with new ideas and formats. We love analog. We are a team of designers and creatives who work closely with international authors, artists, and content creators. We are increasingly collaborating with influential influencers and artists to connect digital communities with analog products. With passion, we develop "printed content" that bridges the gap between the online and offline worlds. What fascinates us is the real and analog – things you can feel, smell, and hold in your hands. From Berlin to Shanghai. Our products have been true bestsellers for many years – their uniqueness delights customers worldwide and makes them sought-after titles in various markets. This success is supported by a strong internal sales team, independent representatives in the German-speaking region, and experienced licensing and distribution partners abroad. Today, you can find our products in bookstores, museums, and concept stores – from Berlin and New York to Stockholm and Shanghai.
