At Smells Like Spells, we believe that fragrance can do more than just scent a space—it can tell a story, spark emotion, and offer moments of reflection. Based in Vilnius, Lithuania, we create handcrafted candles, incense, home perfumes, and essential oil blends, all thoughtfully designed to bring a sense of purpose, calm, and quiet beauty into everyday life. Our work is a harmonized combination of natural fiber, ecological responsibility, and a drop of esoteric inspiration. Each product is crafted by hand, following original recipes that balance traditional folk knowledge with the art of modern perfumery. We see our creations as a meeting point between daily rituals and subtle magic—a creative blend that adds something quietly special to your surroundings. As independent perfumers, we design all of our fragrance compositions in-house, using natural ingredients like soy wax, wooden or cotton wicks, essential oils, and resins as well as the highest quality perfumery essences. Our scent formulas are unique to our brand—carefully developed to evoke moods, memories, and symbolic themes. Rather than imitating existing scents, we build stories through fragrance: grounding, uplifting, warming, or introspective. Inspired by Norse mythology, Tarot archetypes, and various magic traditions of the world, our collections carry a narrative quality. While these traditions inform our creative direction, they are not used as rigid systems of belief, but as symbolic frameworks—a way to add depth, emotion, and meaning to the experience of fragrance.
