This is how we translate current fashion trends for our customers. We combine the everyday life of each individual with such traditional, distinctive materials as wood and leather. Characteristic elements of our products are the natural wood used in combination with leather from southern German production and other natural materials. Our products, like the straps of our bags, are unique, as each of them has a different grain and colour tone. We make products with which everyone feels understood, led back to their roots. We carry models for every occasion, with attention to detail and the highest quality standards. How it all began ... The story of SEBASTIANSTURM - Innovative Accessories begins in 2012. Initially, the guiding principle was "I'll make wood wearable!" as part of Sebastian Sturm's final thesis for his wood technology degree. He was therefore concerned with the design and production of protective covers and cases for notebooks and mobile phones, which should ultimately be made of the natural material wood. For this reason, in close cooperation with a veneer manufacturer, he developed a new type of veneer technology with which it was possible to produce wood that was not only durable, but also elastic and 3-dimensionally formable. What initially seemed to be a difficult challenge turned out to be promising after only a short time. As this development process proved successful, more and more people became enthusiastic about his innovative concept. They were so inspired and excited by the new veneer fabric that he created sketches of handbag shapes, designs and material combinations in the evenings. Due to the overwhelming feedback on the first samples, Sebastian Sturm knew that this idea could have potential and decided to conquer the fashion world with it. For him, it was already certain from the beginning that he only wanted to produce products with the highest quality standards: Therefore, only leather tanned in an environmentally friendly process was used.
