Our own production facility in Germany enables us to manufacture particularly quickly, in a resource-efficient and, above all, transparent manner. The entire value chain is located in one place, the company and all materials are certified, and our supply chains and manufacturing processes are fully traceable. We use only green electricity, 40% of which we generate ourselves with a photovoltaic system. The cooling water extracted from our own well is used sparingly in production in a closed water circuit. We use our production waste heat to heat the buildings. Trust us. Thanks to our in-house production , we manufacture quickly, conserving resources and, above all, transparently. The entire value chain takes place in one location, ensuring that all processes are fully traceable. Our Commitment To Sustainability seal of approval confirms that we take our ecological, economic, and social responsibilities seriously. In addition, we are IFS certified – for the highest food standards. SEDEX and SMETA guarantee compliance with strict labor guidelines. Sustainability? It's always been our thing. We have been producing climate-neutrally since 2021. The company achieves 70% of this neutrality through savings in CO₂ emissions achieved through its own measures. 30% is offset by intelligent reforestation of an existing forest on Rügen with new, climate-resistant tree species and the maintenance of the existing stock. Out of conviction, we exclusively use thermoplastics that are 100% recyclable. The processing of thermoplastics also consumes up to 90% less energy than, for example, the production of glass, ceramics, or aluminum. We use mainly biocircular plastics for our collections. These are recycled from discarded vegetable oils from industry and gastronomy. The oils are collected and converted into plastic in a special recycling process. We can only do beautiful. Good design is no coincidence for us—it's in our DNA. Our products combine emotion and function in a distinctive way and have won over 100 design awards. Some of our icons, such as the BABELL étagère and TASCHE XL, have long since achieved design classic status, and have done so for over 25 years.
