History & Milestones 2002 – Website rattan-island.com launched; first export (20ft GP) to the UK. 2002–2008 – Expanded exports to the UK and Japan via international trade fairs. 2005 – Established finishing factory in Yangon for QC, coloring, packaging, and export controls. 2008 – Participated in international trade show in China. 2012 – First export to the USA. 2014 – Opened a production facility in Ye Kyi, Ayawaddy Division. 2016 – Expanded into South America, Belgium, Brazil, Portugal, New Zealand, Australia and Korea.
