Estancias del Lago operates a sustainable agro-industrial complex dedicated to the production of milk powder, located in Durazno, Uruguay. The facilities cover more than 30,000 hectares, primarily in the central region of the country. Fert irrigation agriculture and intensive, selective livestock breeding are complemented by the use of the most modern industrial processes to continuously evaluate the product, which meets international quality standards. Fertilizers and fossil fuels are replaced by renewable energy, and the use of chemicals and greenhouse gas emissions are minimized, resulting in multiple awards for environmental care and energy efficiency.
