Barazzoni S.p.a is an Italian company specialized in the production of steel cookware (pots, pans, pressure cookers), non-stick and ceramic. Its historic headquarters is located in Invorio (NO), Piedmont. Since 1903— the year of its founding— the Barazzoni Company has established itself for quality, innovation and for bringing design into the world of cooking. ASSORTMENT Over the years, the range has expanded both in cooking and in food preparation (special cooking methods, utensils, etc.), and also through the marketing of tableware and home items. Today, the Company presents itself as a reality capable of meeting every need in the kitchen. The entire range is characterized by careful attention to quality, design, functionality and innovation. The cooking tools are made in Italy in order to ensure maximum safety for health and the environment. AWARDS In addition to the many prestigious international design awards (Compasso d'Oro; Good Design; Red Dot Design; IF Design) that several of its products have won, Barazzoni has received the following important recognitions related to its long history: Marchio Storico Italiano (Chambers of Commerce of Italy) and Impresa Storica Italiana (Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy). EXPORT From Piedmont, Barazzoni exports its quality to more than 80 countries, across Europe and the rest of the world. DESIGN Barazzoni has an advanced in-house design studio. Over the years, it has also relied on, and continues to rely on, the collaboration of prestigious Italian and international designers (Porsche, Bellini, Pirinfarina, among others). This has enabled it to obtain numerous prestigious international design awards, as well as having its products exhibited in art exhibitions and museums. In 1969, Barazzoni was the first company that, with the launch of the Tummy line designed by Ennio Lucini, introduced design into the creation of cookware and kitchen items—winning numerous recognitions, including the prestigious Compasso d'Oro from ADI in 1979. Its production has never been interrupted since it was launched in 1969 and it is still the best-selling collection in stainless steel! Moreover, since its opening in 2022, Tummy has been on display in the prestigious ADI Design Museum. In 1989, the Luci&Ombre line was launched, made in the revolutionary trimetallo and signed by Ferdinand A. Porsche, designer of the famous 911 car. In 1991, it was the turn of the Kore coffee maker, also designed by Porsche. Both Porsche-designed lines received the mention for the Compasso d'Oro. In 2003, the year of the company’s centenary, the My Lady line—designed by Claudio Bellini—was awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2004 and the Good Design Award 2004. It also received the Designpreis Nomination 2006 and was selected for the Piemonte Torino Design Exhibition 2006.
