Osean Tableware Porcelain Natural
An ocean is infinite – larger than we can ever imagine, so much bigger than ourselves. The ocean inspires poetry, but most of all it defines our planet, covering the majority of our Earth. The sea, the horizon and the galaxy; the three are intrinsically tied together. For too long we have taken them for granted, today we understand that we must protect them in order to preserve them. Designer Linda Svedal Walsøe has delved into this natural ocean of inspiration – the earth and the sea that is ours for such a short while, ours to nurture and tend carefully, before we pass it on to the next generation.
Osean is porcelain tableware meant for everyday use, and consists of seven pieces;
three plates, one deep platter, one mug and two smaller bowls. Laden with favourite foods, this tableware series invites you to sample a little of a lot; to move away from the formal structure of fine dining and focus on the social aspect of gathering round a grazing table. Enjoy the moment, and stay a little longer.
Not just one, but three different patterns in nuances of blue and white – Hav*, Horisont**and Galakse*** – means that you can personalize your tableware by mixing and matching the patterns to your own taste and style. Or choose to go with only one favourite.
*Sea, ** Horizon, ***Galaxy
