Carbon Steel Baking Pizza Steel

  • Quality – Kockums Jernverks pizza steel/baking steel is made from 6 mm thick, Swedish carbon steel by SSAB. The blasted steel surface is baked with Swedish vegetable oils, meaning you can use it immediately after purchase without separate burning.
  • Efficient heat conduction – when it comes to baking a crispy pizza, it is all about heat. The high density of the steel provides more heat compared to a pizza stone. The pizza steel conducts heat 14-18 times better and stores almost four times as much heat as a pizza stone, so you can bake several pizzas in a row.
  • Restaurant pizza at home – with a diameter of 35 cm and a thickness of 6 mm, you can quickly reach an optimal temperature. If the steel is too thin, it does not retain heat well enough. Our pizza steel/baking steel is ideal for baking pizza and bread in restaurant quality. You will receive crispy pizzas with perfect base - just as real pizzas should be.
  • Swedish quality steel – Swedish steel and Swedish craftsmanship in completion. Our pizza steel can withstand up to 700 degrees and is indestructible, unlike brittle bricks/pizza stones that can easily break or crack at high temperatures and fast temperature changes.
  • Works with all heat sources – Kockums Jernverks pizza steel is made in Sweden from 100% carbon steel by SSAB.
