The Visitor Decorative Sculpture

In 2009, The Visitor - the creation of Belgian artist Guido Deleu - was born and added to our collection. The character gazes curiously toward the sky, and thanks to its friendly appearance and universal appeal, it has grown into an iconic design object and a beloved guest in many contemporary interiors worldwide.

Each Visitor is handmade and begins its journey in the Brazilian ceramic studio Cores da Terra, located in one of the poorest regions of the country. The name, meaning “colors of the earth”, reflects one of the studio’s core values: sustainability. Organic raw materials such as clay and natural pigments form the basis of these handcrafted art pieces. Another core value is social responsibility: by training local residents to become ceramic artists, jobs are created, and the quality of life for local families improves.

The Visitor is available in more than 40 colors and in different sizes.
