Fabric food bag, comprising 2 envelopes; inner envelope in 100% cotton, called gauze (a cousin of the old butter muslin) + outer envelope also 100% cotton + BPA-free coating.

Uses

The salad bag allows for the natural preservation of raw vegetables (salads, vegetables, aromatic herbs, fruits) but also of hard cheeses and dry hams.

Objective

The purpose of Sacasalades is to:

fight directly against food waste;
drastically reduce food waste;
stop the use of plastic.

Economic aspects

The economic cost of food waste in France amounts to 10 million tons of food thrown away each year, representing €16 billion. This equates to €238 per person per year, or €952 for a family of four. Therefore, with three Sacasalades (3 x €28 = €84), you save €952 worth of food because the Sacasalades is washable and reusable.
