Mino Ware Namikoi Tableware Series
Hand-painted expressions of calmness and strength.
This series is crafted in Mino, one of Japan’s historic centers of pottery.
Each piece is individually hand-painted by artisans, giving every plate and bowl a slightly different character and presence.
The design blends two meaningful motifs:
Seigaiha (Blue Ocean Waves): a traditional pattern expressing peace, continuity, and the gentle flow of everyday life.
Koi (Carp): a symbol of resilience and graceful strength, known for swimming upstream.
Together, the motif represents:
A life that is calm, steady, and quietly strong.
The collection includes bowls, plates, rice bowls, and small dishes — forms that reflect the rhythm of everyday Japanese meals.
It is intended not as décor, but as daily-use tableware that carries a sense of warmth and cultural depth.
