The solid dial specially milled for the watch is particularly outstanding, with a view of the movement, which appears to float inside, surrounded by a glass cube. The design piece shows the Earth's orbit around the sun once in a year, with the Earth revolving around itself once every 24 hours. At the same time, the moon orbits the earth once every 29 1/2 days, turning once on its own axis so that the individual phases of the moon can be seen from the earth.
