Rockingham Forge Kitchen Knives
Rockingham Forge Kitchen Knives
Since 1948, I.Grunwerg Ltd have proudly manufactured knives and scissors in the heart of Sheffield, the steel city and centre of cutlery production in the UK.
Whilst the factory closed in the 1970’s the business moved to Rockingham Street, where it remained until 2019, designing and supplying cutlery and kitchen knives to the consumer market.
The use of the word “Forge” is a reference to our expertise in metalware manufacturing, spanning a number of generations.
The team at Rockingham Forge have a wealth of knowledge and experience in stainless steel and knife making, that stems back to 1945.
I.Grunwerg is proud to have remained a family run business for more than 80 years, supplying the housewares industry with stainless steel kitchen products.
We don’t manufacture any more in Sheffield, but what we do is combine our knowledge of what makes a good knife with our design and marketing expertise, in order to provide good value and innovation.
