Riccardo Marzi Di Marzi Andrea
Riccardo Marzi was the founder of the company: in 1979 he first experimented this craft, thinking about "preserving" elements of Nature embedded in everyday objects. Today his children Elena and Andrea, are running the company, making tableware products, centrepieces and other unique objects by using this particular technique: they embed flower arrangements and other natural elements, inside a clear resin. Our objects look like paintings: small glimpses of Nature inspired by Nature. It is no coincidence that our company is located in the middle of the Tuscan hills, from which we draw a lot of inspiration. For more than 15 years, two of our products have been exhibited at the MoMA in New York Objects that contain in their transparencies all the poetry and magic of Nature's colours. Each of our creations contains within itself a small natural microworld inspired by the landscapes of our beautiful country 01. INSPIRATION Tuscan landscape is certainly the first source of inspiration; it has always been Riccardo's Muse, able to encouraging his artistic talents 02. RESEARCH Behind each composition there's a long work in selecting the materials followed by a fine tuning of the arrangements which will be then "suspended" inside the objects 03. HANDCRAFTING Modelling, moulding, pouring, drying, smoothing, polishing: these are all the handmade required processes to create an object
