Skagen Cookware Collection
All round hygge
The Old Norse word skaga means “to stand out” and describes the location of Skagen, the northernmost city in Denmark, where the North and Baltic Seas meet. The high-quality Skagen cooking series from Schulte-Ufer stands for the hyggelige of the Nordic way of life as well as for the outstanding – made for enjoying life in a cozy atmosphere with delicious food.
Inspired by nature is the excellent 3-layer material that defines Skagen. Like the individual layers of an onion, two protective stainless steel layers encase a heat-conducting aluminum layer, which, in contrast to conventional cookware, is pulled up to the rim. The aluminum transfers heat evenly and efficiently from the stovetop into the rim of the pot or pan – on induction and gas as well as on all other common types of stoves. Thanks to the heat-resistant, break-proof quality glass lids, you can keep an eye on your food even when covered and thus the heat in the cookware. And since the highly polished items from Skagen with their handy cast handles are timelessly beautiful, they are also wonderful as serving dishes. With the lid on, the food stays at the same temperature for a long time. And because Skagen is dishwasher safe – except for the glass lids and pan coatings – subsequent cleaning is no problem either.
So all around hygge with Skagen!
